In September 2009 I will be heading to Holsby Brunn Bible College in Sweden to serve as the Outreach Coordinator until June 2010. I did not know that this is where I would be spending the next year; however, God opened doors and guided me through this process and I am very excited for what the next year will have in store! Holsby Brunn is part of the Torchbearers International schools that offer Biblical training and teaching to young adults all over the world. Our desire is to find meaningful ways for students to reflect, self-evaluate, and share their outreach experiences among themselves and with the community; Provide an outlet for students to connect contacts and new Christians to the local church; offer ongoing interaction, encouragement and prayer, and equip students with the tools they will need for continued ministry after Holsby.
As part of the Bible school team, serving as the Outreach Coordinator, I will assist the team with daily tasks. These may include grading of assignments, decision making, attending and facilitating events, and other requested needs of the Bible school. Attending Bible school meetings and communicating the needs or goals of outreaches will be a part of this. I will also be contributing to the campus-based outreaches such as the church service, prayer days, and worship times.
So that's an overview for those who are wondering, "What on earth is Lue going to be doing in Sweden?" I'm really excited and I am expecting to be challenged and stretched in my own walk with the Lord. I believe through prayer, by the work of the Holy Spirit, God is going to move in powerful ways and I look forward to sharing this with you!
Thank you for partnering with me!
